Sharing Parenting Resources & Outreach United Together for Support

As an early childhood family resource, SPROUTS reaches out to Kenosha County families of young children (birth through five yrs.) to provide resources, education support and referrals in a positive and accepting environment.   SPROUTS seeks to build a strong support network in efforts to minimize isolation, so that parents or caregivers are better able to prepare children for school and life success.  

Universally Accessible - requires no eligibility criteria, no fees are charged

Primary Prevention - intended to provide services that will reduce stress by providing families with the tools and support that will assist them in creating a stable family environment in which the likelihood of problems is minimized

Strength Based - focused on the notion that all families have strengths which, when recognized, respected and appreciated, serve as a basis for pride and confidence that lead adults, children and family units to succeed

Weekly playgroups and sessions where adults and children can gather in a preschool like environment to engage in play and structured activities.

"Play With Me!” Kits - A collection of theme based toys, books, puzzles and activities that families can borrow.
